Robotics Courses Oak Bay Robotics

A different kind of class Robot Engineering

Students in robotics are taken through electronics, programming, 3D modelling, and engineering on their journey to creating a capstone robot project. Along the way, problem solving, team work, and ingenuity emerge as skills that are needed for the modern classroom and beyond.

Building the Dream Robotics Capstone

For the final three months of their course, students apply their learning to designing their own real-world robot. This capstone project has brought forth submerisble ROVs, coffee making bots, solar tracking robots, and robotic cranes.  Students work independently or as part of a team to create a robot that tackles a real world problem.

Here is a team venture that collaborated with our Marine Biology program to build an ROV to assist in underwater research.
